APEX AUDIO_SPEAKER DESIGN
Overview
This project was developed as an in-house concept exploring a design direction for a modern line of audio products.
The goal was to create a speaker concept that emphasized simplicity and proportion while remaining visually distinctive in the crowded consumer audio market. The design challenges the typical forms and layouts commonly seen in the category.
The project focused on developing a clean design language that could extend across a broader product ecosystem.
Approach
Concept Exploration
As an internal project, the concept allowed us to explore a simplified design direction for consumer audio products, focusing on strong form identity and visual clarity.
Form Language
The design is built around a restrained geometric language. Simple forms were combined in balanced ratios to create a clean and recognizable silhouette.
Design Identity
A central cylindrical element carries through the entire unit, acting as the visual anchor of the design and establishing a feature that could scale across a wider product family.
